At any time in your life have you experienced physical, mental and/or emotional abandonment? I understand the pain that causes you, as I experienced all of them during childhood. As much as I, and likely you, have worked to heal those experiences, remnants remain.
I will share guidance about this that I received this morning, but the story really began yesterday. I had conducted a client session during the day, and later in the evening had a long conversation with a colleague; each individual shared aspects of their struggle. As we all know, we are each other’s teachers… we are here to help each other. Their openness and sharing touched similar pain that I carry remnants of to this day. I was not surprised that this morning, as I sat in meditation to bring in the next Daily Intentions message (for January 2, 2025), the message spoke volumes about the source of the struggles shared and experienced yesterday.
The message is from the Heart of Pure Love (Note that all the Angels and other guides refer to Christ as the ‘Heart of Pure Love’). The message specifically addressed unhealed abandonment as the cause of many forms of pain we carry and experience in adulthood. The guidance, “See yourself as worthy of unconditional love and support. The depth of the healing and belief in your worthiness must reach the depth of the wound; acknowledge the depth of the wound. When things happen in the present that seem to step on the wound, you often abandon yourself to repeat the pattern and that is what brings up the intense and seemingly endless, feelings of loneliness, anger, the search for peace and other emotions. Know that ‘You Are Divine’.” He then offered an affirmation: I am a Divine Being surrounded, worthy and born of Love.
Consider that a change in another’s behavior does not heal your wound. It may lessen the number of incidents of your wound being triggered, but only you and your perspective of your value can heal your wound.
If this is not your experience, it may be helpful to someone you know. Feel free to share the link to this blog post. If you share in an effort to help someone, keep in mind that we each reach understanding in our own time. May Love guide us all.
